𝑷𝑳𝑽𝑺 𝑽𝑳𝑻𝑹𝑨 Years ago, the French invaded the Iberian peninsula in order to install a king in favor of the regime in France, the chosen king was Napoléon's older brother who at first introduced many reforms that helped the country itself, but the Spaniards didn't care about that, they had pride and love for the previous ruling dynasty and they didn't want to be a simple puppet of France, thus the peninsular war broke out days after the installation of the Bonapartist regime in the country. In 1812, the war is in a bad shape for the Spanish, after losing Madrid and seeing many men leave for the upcoming Russian invasion ordered by the Emperor of the French the peninsular war seems to be lost, but the French still haven't given up their claim to the Spanish throne and they seem more than ready to fight back the guerillas in the arid landscape of Spain.
