welcome to my other group i do random announcements here also, if you're curious: Tuff is an igneous rock formed from consolidated volcanic ash ejected during an explosive eruption. The ash, which can include fragments of pumice and scoria, is deposited and then compacted and cemented into a solid rock over time. Tuff is typically a porous and can vary in hardness, it has been used historically as a building material in places like Rome due to its ease of quarrying, even though it hardens when exposed to air.
