The Emperor's Royal Guard, commonly called the Imperial Royal Guard or just the Imperial Guard, are the body guards, protectors, and enforcers of the Galactic Emperor and his Imperial Throne. Guardsmen of the Royal Guard are chosen amongst the Imperial Military's best forces for their combat capabilities, independence, and most importantly; their unwavering loyalty. Selected and trained by the Master Instructor and the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader- the Emperor's Guards are some of the best fighters the Empire, and the entire Galaxy, has to offer. Elite variants of the Royal Guard include: - Shadow Guardsmen: Force sensitive guards who hunt Jedi and other enemies of the Lords of the Sith, Darth Sidious and Darth Vader. - Sovereign Protectors: The best combatants in the Royal Guard who serve the Emperor directly.
