Description
The 187th Legion was an elite legion within the Grand Army of the Republic. The legion of clone troopers participated in the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The legion was led by Jedi General Windu. The troopers of the legion customized their Phase II clone trooper armor with purple markings. As such, the legion's clones shared their armor color with their Jedi General's unique purple-bladed lightsaber. The legion's ranks included a clone trooper officer, who wore a purple pauldron. Like other units in the Republic Army, 187th clones would wield the DC-15A blaster carbine and DC-15A blaster rifle. The 187th Legion shared the same unit designation as the 187th Battalion, another unit led by Windu.
