However, this was not to be the end as the inferno of revolution swept the nation as thousands now rejected the chains that bound them to the failing nation. What was left of the army after the Treaty of Versailles was unable to put down the revolution and soon the provisional government was helpless against the voices of the German worker. Out of the fires fell a defeated Empire!
