The United States Paranatural Warfare Command, also known as PENTAGRAM, is a clandestine, functional unified combatant command of the U.S armed forces. PENTAGRAM is responsible for the defense of the United States against anomalous threats; additionally, it oversees the development and deployment of anomalous, thaumaturgic, and paratechnological weapons and methods in order to advance American interests worldwide. PENTAGRAM lacks a traditional Area of Responsibility, instead, PENTAGRAM takes over the command of traditional troops when a suspected or confirmed anomalous object, entity, or event is involved; in addition to units permanently assigned to its command.
