𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐙𝐈𝐀 𝟐. 𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐙𝐈𝐀 𝐃𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐄 "𝙄𝙣 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣" Second Mountaineer Division played a crucial role in 2nd Great War, especially on the Eastern Front. It was heavily involved in battles from the beginning. However, its toughest trial came during the 1941 advance into the Soviet Union, where harsh terrain and fierce opposition took a heavy toll. As one of the most affected units, it was withdrawn from the front lines for recovery and rehabilitation in Romania, aiming to replenish its strength and morale for future engagements.
