Description
Roblox is failing the very community that built it, especially its youngest players. Harmless users are banned for simple words, while predators and toxic players remain online. Inappropriate UGC and clothing flood the catalog, shaping kids’ ideas of what’s “normal” in harmful ways. Online dating is everywhere, despite it being against Roblox’s own rules. Chat restrictions silence safe players — even in their own groups — yet dangerous conversations slip through unchecked. Roblox heavily markets itself as a safe, family-friendly platform, but the reality doesn’t match the image. If they can profit from children’s engagement, they have a responsibility to protect them. That means prioritizing safety over monetization: hiring more human moderators, removing predatory accounts quickly, reviewing UGC before release, and enforcing rules consistently. Millions of kids trust Roblox every day — that trust is being broken, and the damage is already being done. It’s time to act quickly.
