3rd Infantry Division (Rock of the Marne) Year: 2010 | Location: Georgia After the fall of Atlanta, surviving elements of the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division regrouped at Fort Benning, one of the last defensible military installations in Georgia. Originally deployed for quarantine and evacuation operations, the unit suffered heavy losses during the initial outbreak but retained discipline and command structure. Now operating as a reduced but organized force, the 3rd Infantry Division secures surrounding areas, patrols key routes, and protects civilian survivors when possible fighting to preserve order and survive in a collapsed world.
