United States and Panama Mail Steamship Company #33690855
Description
"The Pride of the Pacific!" •INFORMATION• In October of 1847, a Spanish American with a dream of steamship service left the steps of the US Capitol with the great news of winning the Contract for Mail services in the Pacific. From the rain forests of Panama to the reaches of the the untamed wilderness of Oregon all belonged to him! Jose Reyes had already laid the groundwork for such services nearly a year prior, but with the contract, he had the authority and ability to finally open and provide such services to the Republic, and the World! With the great partnership of New York Shipbuilders and Congress it wouldn't be long before 3 elegant steamships left his shipyards, and bound for the Isthmus and California! However, laying ahead a fortune one couldn't imagine, nor the rest of the world... •FLEET• PMSS Panama (1848-)
