Welcome to the Dartmouth Steam Railway! This is a Railway that runs through the English Riviera with lots of sights to see! The PDSR is one of the most scenic Railway Lines in Britain and Lengths out at 7 Miles Long. Starting at Paignton, you can get on the Train Journey from there, going through Goodrington, you can see the Sea and Beach. After Goodrington, you pass on two of the Iconic Viaducts built by Brunel in the 1850s. At Churston, which is home to our permanent way department, our locomotives are maintained there as well as Locomotives passing there, Nearing Greenway, you encounter the Greenway Tunnel, after the tunnel, yet again another Viaduct passing over the Dart valley! Getting to Kingswear, The Line climbs down a nice Gradient. Once at Sea Level, The Dartmouth Estuary - Filled with Boats! Now at Kingswear, the Locomotives Runs around the train for the Journey back to Paignton.
