The Holy Land in the year, 1180 Anno-Domini, a tense region on the Eastern-Mediterranean sea spanning from the waters of the Red sea to the mountains of Anatolia. In 1095 A.D. Urbanus VII. traveled to France in order to rally support for an armed pilgrimage, after Emperor Alexios I. of the Byzantine Empire called out for help against the invading Seljuk Kingdom under the feared Alp Arslan. Around 100 years and 2 major crusades later, the famous Sultan Sala-ad-din, better known as Saladin of the Ayyub dynasty is aiming to reconquer Jerusalem, in recent attempts to do so his army was destroyed by King Baldouin IV. of Jerusalem in the battle of Montgisard in the year 1177 A.D.. now, the tides seem to turn as an ever weaker growing King in Jerusalem, suffering from Leprosy is destabilising his realm and fanatics are gaining the upper hand.. who will turn out successful in this conflict?
