Description
Raised as a sub-unit of the Savolax Foot Hunters Regiment upon the outbreak of the Finnish War in 1808, the Savolax Artillery Company composed of only 1 battalion and company and only mustered a meagre 133 men. It participated at Battle of Hxörnefors and saw action in different brief skirmishes throughout the Finnish War but there is little known about its history.
