Description
Descended from former Agata-nushi clans of Kagoshima, the Nisihara clan was exiled from Main Isle Japan to Okinawa in the tail end of the Meiji period, after failing to appease its neighbors, entering war, and losing favor with its subjects, who helped overthrow their lordship. Committed to reclaiming their place, they eventually helped restore order in the isles when the emperor brought order back the era came to a close, securing their place in the economy of re-unified Japan as blacksmiths.
