Description
𝐇𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐈 Known as the Army of Aristocrats, the Thessalian Hippeis are the ultimate elite fighting force of Thessaly. They are selected from the Sarissaphoroi through a selective drafting system. Adorned with their cuirass and Phrygian helmets, these heavy shock cavalry ward off enemy attacks from Thessaly's central cities. Whilst decorated warriors, the Hippeis are also skilled politicians and aristocrats, hailing from the most noble families Thessaly has to offer, the Hippeis tend to govern local towns and organize citizen-militias for the defense of the state.
