Description
ᴋᴀ || ʀᴇᴘᴜʙʟɪᴄ ᴏꜰ ᴋᴀʀᴇʟɪᴀ [Alt-History Republic of Karelia] When the civil war began with the Soviet Union, now known as the Russian Federation, Karelia took up arms and fought for a proper democracy. The neighboring Finland respected the actions of Karelia and supported them anonymously during the civil war. Karelia and the Soviet Union, now Russian Federation discussed peace terms but never came to a conclusion, the two countries without agreement have made their own peaceful arrangements and created border checks between the two countries. On occassion there is sporadic fighting, but usually avoided at all cost.
