𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 Närke Värmlands Regemente The Närke-Värmland Infantry Regiment was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traced its origins back to the 16th century. The regiment's soldiers were recruited from the twin provinces of Närke and Värmland. As they were two relatively small underpopulated provinces that could not sufficently provide a regiment of their own. It was allotted in 1686 (Närke) and 1688 (Värmland) and served valiantly in the numerous engagements Sweden found themselves tied to during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. The regiment distinguished itself through their extraordinary musket discipline. Firing more volleys per minute more than any other regiment in Sweden. Närke-Värmland faces a threat to east once again as it has many times, the mighty Russian bear awakens from its long slumber threatens Sweden and thus will be mobilized to Sweden's Defence.
