Description

𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐀 Ħ𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐀' 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐀 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒: After the Great War, Malta grew to want independence from the British crown. Though these feelings ran deep, the population still respected the British and their long investment in the island during the First World War. Thus it was to be that they were granted independence. However - by treaty - they remained allied to the British Empire. This deal has relieved some of the economic stress from the government which is currently struggling with the horror of an ongoing Italian invasion, with the British unable to provide military force to protect its independence. Thus, the Republic's society is openly armed and currently enduring the worst storm ahead.
