▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♕▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Head of the family: Prince Louis of Battenberx The Battenberx family is a non-dynastic cadet branch of the House of Hesse, which ruled the Duchy of Hesse. The first member was Julia Hake, for whom the title of Prince of Batttenberx was created because she married Prince Alexander of Hesse (Whilhelm's brother and my father). The family moved to England in 1841 and settled at Kent Manor.
