Description
𝐓𝐎𝐂𝐏𝐔 𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐆𝐈 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐘 The Topçu Ocağı was responsible for the use of artillery pieces. It is not clear when artillery was first used by the Ottoman Army. Although some argue that the Ottomans used cannons in the Battles of Kosovo and Nuka, it is certain that artillery was routinely used by the 1420s. However the other argument states that field guns entered service shortly after the Battle of Varna
