Description
The Old Democratic Party, often referred to simply as the "Jacksonites" traces its roots to the traditional Democratic Party of pre-Civil War America. It was established as a response to the rising tide of Communism sweeping Eurasia. The party sought to preserve the core values of American democracy while adapting to the new geopolitical realities imposed by the Soviet Union's rising power in the world, believing the Democratic Party was too soft on "The Red Menace". The philosophy of the party came from Jacksonian ideals of foreign and domestic policy.
