Description
Emergency Medical Services (EMS), also known as emergency medical assistance, is a system that provides medical care to patients experiencing urgent health issues or immediate medical needs. This system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is designed to respond to urgent health emergencies such as injuries, severe illnesses, or other acute health problems. When individuals encounter an urgent health problem, they can call the emergency medical services number (e.g., 112 in the Lithuania) to receive medical assistance.
