Kostrad adalah singkatan dari Komando Cadangan Strategis Angkatan Darat. Ini adalah salah satu Komando Utama (Kotama) tempur yang paling penting dan strategis yang dimiliki oleh Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (TNI AD). 🎯 Peran Utama dan Tugas Komando Utama Tempur: Kostrad berperan sebagai kekuatan pemukul dan penangkal strategis yang dapat digerakkan dengan cepat ke seluruh wilayah Indonesia untuk menghadapi berbagai ancaman. Siaga Operasi: Pasukan Kostrad selalu berada dalam kesiapan tinggi untuk beroperasi atas perintah Panglima TNI kapan saja, baik dalam operasi militer perang (OMP) maupun operasi militer selain perang (OMSP). Tugas Pokok: Melaksanakan operasi militer, baik secara mandiri maupun dalam suatu operasi gabungan, dalam rangka mempertahankan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI).
