Description
Caledonian Airways was formed in November 1950 with the DC-7 aircraft in its fleet, it was founded by executive businessman Regionalapolo and 2 years later vice president Paco_Dev arrived, who would inherit the airline after Apollo's death in February 1999. The airline It started with a fleet of one plane. Its center was located at London Gatwick International Airport. The airline began to succeed and in 1964 Caledonian Airways merged with British United Airways to form British Caldonian which two months later would become British Caledonian, years later the Jumbojet came out. Boeing 747 and Boeing offered BCA a fleet of 18 Boeing 747-100s and British Caledonian accepted, later they added more aircraft to their fleet, but the airline did not work very well. In 1990 they sold the shares of British United Airways and British Caledonian disappeared. , reforming Caledonian Airways.
