The Old Gods of Valyria "Formed from the Flames" --- The First Creation were the True Valyrians, the Fourteen Flames created twelve of these beings and gave them magic. With this magic, they created the first dragons and other beasts to roam the newly created world. The dragons were powerful beasts who brought fire and blood to the world. After witnessing their destruction, the Fourteen Flames created mankind who hunted the dragons. The greatest of the flames, Arrax, sought to save the dragons from the fate the other flames had given them. And thus, he created the Blood of the Dragon, silver-haired men who would go on to forge a new world in which they would rule as the Lords of the Dragons. These Dragonlords would go on to form what is now known as Old Valyria. While the Doom may have taken Old Valyria, The Blood of the Dragon lives on, and so too do the flames.
