The Alamo County Sheriff's Office was introduced to the county of Alamo officially in 1968. Previous to the establishment of the ACSO the county of Alamo was a county of crime. The ACSO primarily focuses on non-traffic related crime, the local court system, administering the County Jail, and assisting in Search and Rescue missions. Recruitment status: The County Budget limits the department to 20 members You MUST have Citizenship in the State of Appalachia, you must also hold a Law Enforcement Certification.
