Description

House Kinsky is a prominent Czech noble family, originating from the Kingdom of Bohemia, that rose to a princely status under the rule of the Habsburgs during the Thirty Years' War. According to medieval romanticism, a king's beautiful daughter found herself surrounded by a pack of wolves. Her attendants all fled the terrible scene except for one young man, who saved the princess by killing the wolves. In gratitude, the king ennobled the young man, granting him a coat of arms featuring three wolves' teeth as an emblem of his bravery.
