Description
[UNSCMC] "A senior branch within’ the UNSC, the marines work alongside the navy to effect military action across the full range of human-controlled space." Their primary mission is to conduct expeditionary operations in direct support of naval forces and planetary defenses. Marine Corps units are responsible for maintaining an expeditionary force in readiness which can seize and defend space and terrestrial strategic locales in advance of the main UNSC effort. For this purpose, the Marines organize, train, and equip land, airborne, and space combined-arms teams that are capable of rapid deployment by Air Force and Navy assets.
