Led by Count Dooku and secretly manipulated by Darth Sidious, the CIS was comprised of various star systems, corporations, and alien species dissatisfied with the Republic’s corruption and inefficiency. It relied heavily on a vast droid army supplied by industrial titans like the Trade Federation and Techno Union. The CIS ultimately served as a pawn in Sidious’ plan to consolidate galactic power. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Grand Army of the Republic, also referred to as the Republic Army, was the military force of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. In addition to warships and advanced weaponry, the army consisted of legions of clone troopers—genetically identical soldiers bred to serve the Republic.
