Description
The Damdami Taksal, commonly known as Jatha Bhindran Mehta, and historically as Giani Samparda, is a Khalsa seminary which was established by the 10th Guru. It was entrusted by the Guru to be the main centre of teaching vidiya and Gurbani Santhiya within the Sikh Panth. The Taksal has done immense work of preaching far and wide across the world and getting innumerable people to take Khande Di Pahul. Baba Deep Singh Ji Shaheed, who battled without his head, was the first Jathedar of this organization.
