Description
301 Squadron flies the Apache attack helicopter. This squadron also has its base at Gilze-Rijen Air Base. The Apache is used for reconnaissance, protecting ground troops and transport helicopters, escorting convoys and eliminating ground targets. In addition, Apaches also support the Ministry of Justice, for example in searching for missing persons and pursuing robbers.
