Description

In the Edo period, the Tokugawa clan, led by Tokugawa Ieyasu, currently governs Japan, having established the Tokugawa Shogunate following their decisive victory at Sekigahara in 1600. For over two centuries, they have maintained a firm grip on power, ushering in an era of unprecedented stability and prosperity. Under their rule, Japan is experiencing a flourishing of arts and culture, while strict social hierarchies and isolationist policies define the fabric of society. However, as the winds of change begin to blow, the once-mighty Shogunate may soon face challenges from modernization and shifting political dynamics. Nonetheless, their imprint on Japan's history and traditions remains indelible to this day.
