Republic of Damocles #34044728
Description
Republic of Damocles ⋟――――――――――――――――――╯ Exiled from our homes, the Damoclean people spent centuries existing as lowly vagrants drifting aimlessly through the void. This exodus that was forced upon us by the hands of the Arch Tyrant, was not our end. A new world was found, and within it a new hope. Though disunited, we had settled, matured, and conquered. Seven ships founded seven cities, and from these polities would be born a nation of uncompromising people. Resolute in our purpose, protected by our arms, never again shall the people of Damocles bow before a tyrant. We will come home. The stars will be ours again. ⋟――――――――――――――――――╯ CITIZENSHIP THROUGH SERVICE. TOLERATE NO TYRANNY. PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION. ⋟――――――――――――――――――╯ "The difference between a civilian and a citizen is that a citizen is willing and capable of defending the body politic, citizenship therefore is not a privilege - but a duty." - Tarquin, 34th Consul A.F. 1569. CIVITAS POPVLARIS DAMOCLES AETERNA
