The Asynchronous Research Institute (Async) or the Async Foundation, is a third party, multi-national technology and research institute primarily associated with the discovery of the Backrooms, as well as the creation of various kinds of technologies including: the ##### (Low Proximity Magnetic Distortion System.) as well as the recruitment of Robots into normal reality, as well as other devices that rely on electromagnetism. As of recent time, it main priority has shifted to documented and understanding the Backrooms.
