Description
THE GERMAN FLEET LOYAL TO THE EMPEROR & PEOPLE OF ROME The Classis Germanica was a Roman fleet in the Germania and Germania Inferior. The Germanic fleet consisted of various classes of warships, from freighters to rafts, transports, and even heavy warships. The main job of this navy was to ensure freedom of navigation to all allied vessels and patrol the waters from the enemy.
