Description
34058960 Kino (early name — Garin and the Hyperboloids) is one of the most popular Soviet rock bands of the 1980s, which was part of the Leningrad rock club. The leader of the group and the author of the lyrics and music performed by it at concerts was Viktor Tsoi, after whose death in 1990, the band, which released a total of more than 100 songs in studio albums over 9 years, several compilations and concert recordings, as well as a large number of unofficial bootlegs, ceased to exist for a long time. In 2012, several band members recorded a studio version of the song "Ataman" using old preserved recordings with Viktor Tsoi's vocals, and in 2020 the band reunited on a permanent basis, preparations began for concerts, several of which were held in 2021 (instrumental parts were performed live by musicians, for Viktor Tsoi's vocals there was a phonogram was used). A large tour of the band is planned for 2022-2023 in the cities of Russia and the republics of the former Soviet Union.
