Description

The Mayflower Bureau of Investigation, first founded in 1931 as the Bureau of Law Enforcement, began with a staff of thirty investigators handling cases directly under the Department of Justice. It was dissolved in 1941 when the Mayflower State Police assumed most of its duties.
