Description
The Grand Army of the Republic The Grand Army of the Republic is a military organisation, created by the Galactic Republic at the beginning of the Clone Wars era. Comprised of clone troopers, genetically engineered soldiers cloned from the DNA of a skilled and infamous bounty hunter, the GAR was established to defend the Republic against the separatist movement led by Count Dooku and his droid army. Commanded by the military command and the Jedi Order, the GAR plays a central role in the Clone Wars, engaging in battles across the galaxy.
