Description

The Department of Public Safety (DoPS) is a state executive agency with a broad portfolio of responsibilities pertaining to the local, county and state emergency services which provide safety to the visitors and citizens of Mayflower. The DoPS is headed by a Secretary appointed by the Governor to serve on the state cabinet. On all government levels, the DoPS is the final arbitrator of internal practices within emergency departments, and shall Iiaise with the Department of Justice and emergency department heads on service reviews and policies.
