Description
Mobile Army Corps Upon the liberation of his country, the Sovereign Prince landed on the Dutch beaches. In The Hague, a handful of armed citizens awaited his arrival. The following year, the prince, later King William I, established the organization of the so-called Staande Armee, consisting of volunteers, as well as a Mobile Corps to act as it's field army. This date is the birthday of the Royal Netherlands Army.
