"We raise our arms for Limburg solely. With prudence to light the way, and force to tread on it." The Limburg Citizen's Militia is a fictional grassroots paramilitary organization that operated during the early 19th century, spanning both present day Dutch and Belgian territories of Limburg. Its formation was shaped by two significant historical events: *The Sacking of Grathem, which saw the establishment of the Grathem Armed Militia (GAM). *The execution of Ser Harrier van Atem, which garnered widespread underground support for the GAM, which eventually saw the expansion and growth of what we now know as the Limburg Citizen's Militia. Its rhetoric centers around themes of regional pride, autonomy, and resistance against foreign domination. Members of the militia saw themselves as guardians of Limburg's heritage and sovereignty, standing firm against perceived encroachments by outside powers, particularly during times of war and political upheaval.
