•‡ The Dark Council ‡• The Dark Council, made up of the wisest and most powerful members of the Order beneath the Powerbases, control the day-to-day running of the Empire for their Emperor. Each member of the Dark Council was bestowed a Sphere of Influence, which gave them complete control over this specific part of the Empire. Examples of Spheres of Influence were the Sphere of Military Offence and the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge. Seats on the Dark Council were highly contested, with some members holding a seat for months whilst others decades. ------------------------------------ With the New Emperor, the Dark Council swore allegiance to him and vowed to assist in the building and running of his Empire on his behalf.
