The Pennsylvania State Police, founded in 1905 by Governor Samuel W. Penny-packer, is the primary law enforcement agency for the commonwealth, we provide law enforcement to the whole state, and boroughs who do not have a local police department. Troop F founded in 1932, provides law enforcement and security to multiple townships around Lycoming, we the support the Lycoming County Sheriffs Department, and multiple other police agencies in keeping the county safe and putting criminals behind bars.
