Description
Serving in India in 1799, the 33rd Regiment of Foot also known as "Wellington's Own" was a renowned Infantry regiment in the Napoleonic Wars. By March 1815, the regiment was again under the command of the Duke of Wellington, this time during the Hundred Days campaign of Napoleon. Having taken part in the action of the previous day, at the Battle of Quatre B. they took part in the action at Waterloo.
