The Napoleonic Era was during the Napoleonic Wars, The french empire was the main country in the Napoleonic Wars, the reason is because of their emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte. The French enemies were Russia, Britain and Sweden. France's allies in the Napoleonic Wars were: Spain, Prussia, the Ottoman Empire, Bavaria, Baden, and his satellite kingdoms of Italy and more. Napoleon had won the early conflicts of the Napoleonic Wars but in the end a Coalition of European Monarchies had won the Napoleonic Wars. Napoleon was then decisively defeated at Waterloo, and he abdicated again, and for the final time on July 22nd. On July 15th , he surrendered to the British at Fort Roch and was permanently exiled to remote Saint Helena. In the end, The Treaty of Paris, signed on November 15th 1815, officially ended the war. On more information, The French Empire's National Anthem was Chant Du Départ, or The Song of Departure It was wrote by Étienne Méhul (music) and Marie-Joseph (words) in 1794.
