Description
After the defeat of Napoleon, in January 1815 the Congress of Vienna formally proclaimed the Kingdom of the Netherlands as a nation, made up of Belgium and Luxembourg, with William I as king. Belgium became independent from the Kingdom in 1831 and the union with Luxembourg until which provided them a strong Economy and unified the rest of Benelux and colonized Indonesia and became a super power ---‐--------------------------------------------------- Isolationist neutral monarchy
