Description
Os espartanos eram um povo da Grécia Antiga conhecidos por sua ênfase na disciplina militar, na valorização da honra e na busca da excelência física. Desde a infância, os espartanos eram submetidos a um rigoroso treinamento militar, visando criar soldados fortes e disciplinados. Eles viviam em uma sociedade altamente hierárquica, onde o exército ocupava uma posição central. A famosa Batalha das Termópilas, na qual um pequeno grupo de espartanos resistiu bravamente contra o vasto exército persa, é um exemplo da coragem e da determinação associadas a esse povo guerreiro.
