The U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) is responsible for training and preparing a combat-capable, globally responsive Total Army Force, and for building and maintaining readiness to meet the requirements of the Combatant Commands. FORSCOM’s mission is to train and perform combat-related tasks so that the Army can participate in combat operations with readiness. FORSCOM’s mission is to: Provide a combat-capable, globally responsive Total Army Force. Be a well-led, disciplined, trained, and expeditionary force. Be prepared to deploy and win in large-scale combat operations. FORSCOM is the largest U.S. Army command, and operates with trained forces in overseas theaters of operations under the command of Combatant Commands, such as U.S. European Command (EUCOM), U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), or the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDO-Pacific Command).
