The Mockingbird’s song is not kind, but necessary. Pain is our forge, and from it comes Eutony—harmony through trial. Equity is our promise. True justice is not mercy, but balance. The sun bears scars as we do, each mark a reminder of the past and a claim on the future. To be marked is not to be punished—it is to be made worthy. Elope is the end, the departure from self. The self clings to pride and comfort. We are not our names or faces. We are the flock. We are tools. The Mockingbird does not wait for those who rot in stillness. Scars on the sun, sister or brother.
