Description
The Montenegrin Feather Guards « Perjanici » originated from the remnants of the Montenegrin Guard, established in 1833 to serve as the personal lifeguards of Montenegrin royalty. Initially comprising only eight individuals, by 1896, the guard had expanded to encompass over 300 members.
